A Follow-up Message about the EFLM

A message from Sana Garner, Education Foundation of Lower Merion;
Thank you again for inviting me to present the EFLM last night. Here is a summary of my presentation for your correspondence to Cynwyd families.
The Education Foundation of Lower Merion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and expanding enrichment opportunities for all students. The foundation is composed of school district administrators and community volunteers.Our New Vision
The EFLM strives to create a sense of belonging within Lower Merion School District by enriching outdoor spaces and providing hands-on learning opportunities that benefit the entire community.

Our foundation will work in collaboration with the LMSD administration to bring projects to life. Some possible projects are: inclusive playgrounds, outdoor classrooms & gardens, athletic field renovations, outdoor performance venues, and small-scale enhancements. Since our outdoor spaces are open to the public during non-school hours, these spaces serve our entire community.
The vision for our school’s outdoor spaces is bold and exciting, but it requires a dedicated team to bring it to life. We are seeking passionate and committed people to join our board of directors who will help us:
- Lead with Vision: Guide our projects from conception to completion.
- Strengthen Our Community: Build connections and foster engagement across all schools and throughout our community.
- Secure Our Future: Expand our fundraising efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of our work.
