CSE Education Series Presents: AI as an Ally: Supporting Special Education Students and Families in the Age of Artificial Intelligence Thursday, November 20 7:30 pm on Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84260296258 On Thursday, November 20, at 7:30 PM, the Lower Merion School District Committee for Special Education (CSE) will host an Educational Series presentation on Supporting Special Education Students and Families in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how students learn, communicate, and receive support-especially those with diverse learning needs. This session explores how parents and educators can leverage AI thoughtfully to enhance accessibility, communication, and individualized learning for students with disabilities. Drawing on her expertise in ethical AI in education and her personal experience as a parent navigating special education, Dr. Aviva Legatt will share practical tools and insights for using AI to strengthen accommodations, streamline educational planning, and empower students-while maintaining privacy and preventing misuse. Participants will gain strategies for integrating AI ethically and effectively to support student success in a rapidly evolving educational landscape. Open admission for Lower Merion School District parents, guardians, and staff.
