Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how students learn, communicate, and receive support-especially those with diverse learning needs. This session explores how parents and educators can leverage AI thoughtfully to enhance accessibility, communication, and individualized learning for students with disabilities. Drawing on her expertise in ethical AI in education and her personal experience as a parent navigating special education, Dr. Aviva Legatt will share practical tools and insights for using AI to strengthen accommodations, streamline educational planning, and empower students-while maintaining privacy and preventing misuse. Participants will gain strategies for integrating AI ethically and effectively to support student success in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
