👟Hughes Memorial Fund 5K & Fun Run

The third annual Sean A. Hughes Memorial Fund 5K Race and one-mile Fun Run will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The event will begin and end on Lower Merion High School's Arnold Field track, with the route taking participants through the neighborhood. All participants who register prior to the event will receive a T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for best times. To register, visit https://link.lmsd.org/HughesRun2025 . Cost to participate in the 5K is $35. The one-mile Fun Run is $25. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the 5K start at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run start at 9:15. Medals will be awarded after races conclude. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Memorial Fund's efforts to build the Sean A. Hughes memorial garden as an outdoor classroom and performance space at Lower Merion High School. Dr. Hughes was principal of LMHS for 14 years, prior to his tragic death in a car crash in 2021.
