This year, the 4th grade class proudly chose to support Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation an organization that supports the loved ones of fallen first responders. 💙 

 

The suggested minimum donation is $5 per person. 

We graciously accept larger donations for this wonderful cause. Donations may be made at the door or using our online store below.

⏰Early Bird Seating @ 8:30am | Late Larks @ 9:30am

Enjoy the company of your Cynwyd community as you tuck into a delicious pancake breakfast! There will be gluten free and allergy friendly options available, as well as hot coffee.

 

💚This event is FREE! There is no charge associated with this event; however, contributions are always encouraged.  You can do this by making a cash donation at the door or using the donation form below.

Your financial generosity and support enable the Cynwyd Elementary HSA to provide your child with an enriched, educational experience. Dues are essential to our mission of engaging students, staff and families outside of the classroom.

📅Attend Our Events

We host a wide variety of events throughout the school-year designed to build community and create fun opportunities for students and their families to strengthen their relationships outside the classroom. The best way to stay informed about upcoming events is to Subscribe to our HSA Calendar.

Every event we sponsor requires varying amounts of planning and coordination. It's because of the generosity of our volunteer community who give their time and energy that these events are not only possible, but hugely successful. Please add your contact information to our Volunteer Contact List

🍏 Daily Lunch Helpers [2025-26]
Come spend lunch with your child and their grade-mates by volunteering to serve as a lunchroom helper! RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the children in opening containers, answering questions, and being another adult presence in the room. The role is not designed for discipline but rather to help the students. Please do your best to circulate around all tables to make sure that any student requiring help is better able to access it.
🔴FREEDOM Tournament | Thursday, March 5th
If you are a parent of a Kinder-3rd grade child, please consider volunteering during a slot time so that our 4th grade parents may have the opportunity to watch their 4th grader compete. Thank you!
🧁Freedom Tournament BAKE SALE due Wed, March 4th

🥨Pretzel Club / October - June (1st Friday of the Month)
The Cynwyd Pretzel Club is looking for volunteers to help us sort and distribute pretzels on the first Friday of each month (Second Friday in January and April). It should only take 30-45 minutes of your time. Any help is greatly appreciated! You are welcome to sign-up for one....a few....or ALL Fridays!
🥞Pancake Breakfast | Saturday, March 7th
Come, eat for free and then help flip some pancakes… or come help us set up and then go eat for free. Either way we could really use 30 minutes of your time to help make this event a success!

 🚨VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES
Lower Merion School District mandates ALL volunteers who enter the building and work directly with students are required to submit their clearances to the district prior to the event which you wish to volunteer for. Click Here for More Information on that Process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Office of School and Community Relations at 610-645-1977.
PLEASE NOTE: While this does take time, volunteer clearances are generally valid for 60 months (5 years) from the date of issue and must be renewed every five years.
