HELPING HANDS

The Cynwyd Helping Hands Committee works with Cynwyd’s Guidance Counselor to help Cynwyd families in need. You can make a financial contribution for those familiies in the Cynwyd community that may have an emergency and need assistance, which is kept strictly confidential and handled directly through Mr. Ross and our school counselor, Lisa Ruzzi. If you have any questions or would like to hear more about ways Helping Hands can assist your family, please contact our school counselor Lisa Ruzzi (ruzzil@lmsd.org).

SUNSHINE COMMITTEE

The Sunshine Committee is an extension of Helping Hands that spreads cheer thorughout the year amongst our Cynwyd Elementary School community! Our purpose is to help celebrate our Cynwyd families’ happy news by spreading sunshine as well as providing assistance and comfort in ties of need.  Some examples include: meal delivery efforts when a family is grieving a loss, sending a cheerful gift to a child who has been hospitalized, creating a carpool share to help the parent who has suffered an injury, etc.

If you would like to "nominate" someone to receive some "sunshine," please complete the Sunshine Submission Form, which may be utilized by all Cynwyd Elementary families and staff members.
